Timely recommendations across Australian and global markets.

Most investment advice in Australia arrives attached to a product. The fund that gets recommended is the one on the platform, and the platform is the one that pays. That is legal, disclosed, and almost impossible to see from the outside — but it shapes every recommendation you receive.

Private Wealth is built the other way around. It is General Advice: clear buy, hold and sell recommendations across Australian and international stocks and ETFs, delivered when they matter rather than at a scheduled quarterly review. No product pushing and no conflicts — experience-backed analysis, with the reasoning behind every call.

Alongside the recommendations sits the work that decides whether they compound: general risk management structures, portfolio construction and position sizing across the whole holding, and top-down macro analysis feeding into how the portfolio is weighted. For investors who qualify, it also opens access beyond listed markets — managed funds, structured products, private equity and private credit.

And you do not have to place the trades yourself. Execution is handled for you — but only ever on your approval. We guide you, you decide, and nothing moves in your portfolio without your consent.

Portfolio Recommendations

Consisting of the following:

  • Market Guidance
  • Full macro analysis
  • Domestic & International Stocks
  • Domestic & International ETFs
  • Income Recommendations
  • Managed Funds Access
  • Structured Products
  • Private Equity
  • Private Credit

What we don't

  • Superannuation strategy, SMSF administration and pension structuring
  • Tax planning, estate planning and structuring advice
  • Personal insurance, life cover and income protection
  • Mortgage broking, lending and property advice
  • Discretionary portfolio management

Structured Products

Investments built to a defined outcome.

Structured products are customised investments issued by major financial institutions that combine traditional investments, such as bonds, with derivatives to create a predefined investment outcome.

Rather than simply buying a share, ETF or bond and accepting whatever the market delivers, a structured product can be designed around a particular objective, such as:

Enhanced income
generating higher regular coupons from equities or indices.
Capital-protected growth
participating in market upside while protecting a defined percentage of capital at maturity.
Enhanced growth
increasing participation or leveraged exposure to an investment theme.
Smart entry
earning income while targeting entry into an asset at a lower predetermined price.
Portfolio protection
limiting or defining downside exposure.

Structured products, private equity and private credit are each subject to investor classification. Availability is confirmed at the suitability step below.

How it works

Four steps, and you can stop
at any one of them.

01

Confidential enquiry

You send the form below. It goes to a senior adviser, not a sales queue, and nothing is shared with a third party. There is no obligation and no cost to enquire.

02

Suitability and classification

We establish which services you can be offered. This is a regulatory step, not a sales filter — some products are restricted to wholesale or sophisticated investors, and the classification determines what is legally available to you.

03

Portfolio review

We look at what you actually hold: concentration, currency exposure, sector weightings, and how the portfolio behaves in a drawdown rather than in a good year. You get a written view, including the parts we think are wrong.

04

Ongoing guidance

Buy, hold and sell recommendations as they arise, position reviews, and market updates when something changes that should change your positioning. Where you want it, execution is handled for you — approved by you first, every time.

The questions worth asking

What is the difference between General Advice and Personal Advice?
General Advice is guidance that does not take your personal objectives, financial situation or needs into account — it is the analysis, not a recommendation tailored to you, and it always carries a General Advice warning. Personal Advice does take your circumstances into account and comes with a Statement of Advice. IJustWealth provides General Advice; you remain responsible for deciding whether a recommendation fits your situation.
What does 'independent' actually mean here?
No conflicts and no product pushing. Recommendations are made on the merits of the investment, not because a particular product is the one on a platform — which is what makes it possible to tell you that a holding you are attached to is a bad position, or that the right move this quarter is to do nothing at all.
What is a sophisticated or wholesale investor, and do I need to be one?
Not for the core service. Under the Corporations Act, an investor can be classified as wholesale where a qualified accountant certifies net assets of at least $2.5 million or gross income of at least $250,000 in each of the last two financial years. That classification unlocks certain products — some wholesale funds, structured products and private market offerings — that cannot legally be offered to retail clients. Portfolio recommendations and market guidance are available regardless of classification.
Do I have to place the trades myself?
No — execution can be handled for you. What does not happen is anyone trading your portfolio without asking. Every recommendation comes to you first with the reasoning behind it, and nothing is executed until you approve it. We guide you, you decide, and we execute only with your consent.
How is this different from the trading bootcamp?
They are the two halves of the business. The Bootcamp is for learning to trade — it teaches a process for reading markets and managing risk, and you run your own account. Private Wealth is for investors who would rather be guided: General Advice with buy, hold and sell recommendations, portfolio construction and risk management, and execution handled for you on your approval. Some clients do both; neither requires the other.
Who is behind the advice?
Justin Ishac, Founder and Multi-Asset Adviser, working from a Sydney desk. Justin is a Private Wealth Adviser and an Authorised Representative under an Australian Financial Services Licence — the licence, authorised representative number and licensee are disclosed in the footer of every page on this site.
What does it cost?
Fees depend on portfolio size and the scope of the engagement, and they are quoted in writing before anything begins. There is no cost to enquire and no obligation after the initial conversation.

The information on this page is General Advice only. It has been prepared without taking your objectives, financial situation or needs into account, and you should consider whether it is appropriate for you before acting on it. Investing carries risk, including the risk of losing capital, and past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance.
